Funded through equity investment from the U.S. and India, the venture serves as a drug discovery incubator, performing medicinal chemistry, and networking with quality organizations to support all aspects of the drug discovery process through early pre-clinical development.

Job Title Business Development Manager, CRO
Job Description • To Identify and shortlist clients based on their competency for our contract research programs which includes medicinal chemistry, synthetic organic chemistry, computational research, in-vitro biology etc. • To work with business leaders to identify growth platforms and engage in devising strategy for bringing clients. • To write business proposals, contracts and increase clients base at IBS. • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams. • To plan and execute business development strategy in line with the company’s business targets. • Single point of contact for customers, strategized business expansion in the international market & for in-licensing business opportunities • To represent business development function and to seek partnerships with global big pharmas, Mid-pharma and biotechs for engaging in research and development projects through IBS’s Integrated Drug Discovery Business Model.
Key Skills • Should be MBA/PGDM in International Business Management with B.Pharm./M.Sc. as an academic background. • Incumbent must have experience of 8-10 years of business development at CRO and should have handled International Business Development activities at Manager level at least for 2-3 years. • Should be from Pharmaceutical CRO Industry • Must have experience in writing business proposals. • Good communication skills. • Stakeholder management skills. • Proven ability to negotiate. • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy. • Conflict resolution. • Experience working to and exceeding targets.
